About this talk

This presentation is based on a research trial conducted at Deakin University, Geelong, Australia looking at the benefits of Yoga Therapy combined with CBT - for people with mild to moderate anxiety and depression. It will centre around the effectiveness of individualised yoga therapy practices when combined with CBT. There will be discussion around the motivations and enablers for home practice as well as the health outcomes experienced by participants.

This will be co-presented with Melissa O'Shea PhD, MCL - Associate Professor of Clinical Psychology and Yoga Teacher; and chief researcher on the project.
